With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Russell Peter Werenka (Sangudo, Alberta), who passed away on October 3, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Dakota; his parents, John and Agrpina; his siblings, Orest (Florence), Terry, Love and Florence; and his brothers-in-law, Ray, Steve and John.
He is survived by: his wife Ann; his children, Shelly Dodgson (Dale) of Sangudo, AB, Karrie McGhee (Kirt) of Woodlands, TX and Curtis (Rene) of Sangudo, AB; his grandchildren, Cole, Kyle, Kaelyn, Kai, Jorja and Van; and his sisters, Vera Pagotto (Jerry), Tillie Ostrowercha, Olga Blahun (Joe) and Ann Blahun. He is also survived by Papa the Legend, and he'll be especially loved and missed by his dear grandchildren.
