She was predeceased by: her brother Randy; her father Percy Hayes; her stepfather Charles Felix Pischinger; her mother Martha Pischinger; her brother-in-law John Boonstra; and her sister Mary Ann Boonstra.

She is survived by: her husband Deane Gibbs; her children, Leanne Gibbs and Thomas Gibbs (Sarah); her grandchildren, Micheal, Dianna and Ashley-Jean; and her siblings, Wayne Jennings (Sharon) and Florence McKay (Harold).
