She was predeceased by: her husband Clifford Whitford; her sons, Dale Whitford and Travis Makokis; and her mother Roseanna Makokis. She is survived by: her children, Calvin Makokis (Madeline), Jarret Makokis, Stuart Makokis, Brittany Whitford (Donald), Clifford Whitford Jr. (Natasha) and Cody Whitford; her grandsons, Preston Whitford and Chase; her son Tobias Makokis; and her brother Billy Makokis. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM and on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ayiwakes Cultural Centre (404a 50TH St, Saddle Lake, AB T0A3T0). A wake was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
