With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Toni-Lynn Moosewah-Jackson (Saddle Lake, Alberta), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 6, 2025 at the age of 41. She was predeceased by: the father of her children Clinton Cardinal; her brother Lindsay Jackson; and her grandparents, Carmen, Flora Jackson, James and Emily Moosewah.
She is survived by: her children, Aaliyah, Layne and Karissa; her granddaughter Alethea; her parents, Larry Moosewah (Lisa) and Elaine Jackson; and her siblings, Lenora Jackson (Cory Moosewah), Melina Blackman, Josephine Nielsen (Chris), Charleen Moosewah, Jaymie Moosewah, Dylan Moosewah, Carter Moosewah and Kassandra McGilvery. She is also survived by numerous aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews & friends.
A wake was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ayiwakes Cultural Centre (404a 50TH St, Saddle Lake, AB T0A3T0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
