He is survived by: his common-law partner Hailey Paul; his children, Alora Makokis, Mattie Makokis, Levi Roan Jr. Makokis, Orrin MacDonald, Kona Makokis and Phoenix Paul; his parents, Dick Makokis and Linda Makokis; his adoptive parents, Dennis Cardinal and Eva Cardinal; his siblings, Kim Pearson (Adrien), Renèe Makokis, Dickie Makokis (Amber), Maggie Picard (Andre), Shauna Makokis (Ty), Mitch Makokis (Dana), Thunder Makokis (Trish), Josh White (Emry), Blue Sky Makokis (Carmine) and Trevor Makokis (Michelle); his daughter Hailey Mae Oka; his niece Morning Star Makokis; and his grandparents, Joe, Maggie Moosewah, Alphonse and Margaret Makokis. He is also survived by numerous aunties, uncles and relatives.
