Though Irene may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Irene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
A wake was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 11:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake Cree Nation (404a 50TH St, Saddle Lake, AB T0A3T0).
