He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Brertton-Giant and Charlotte Brertton-Giant; and his brothers, Ronald Brertton and Alvin Giant (Magic). He is survived by: his daughter Kayla; his siblings, Duke Brertton, Hanson Brertton, Wanda Brertton, Tina Brertton (Kelvin Bird) and Iris Brertton; his half-sisters, Karen Quinney (Berry Paul) and Charlene Cardinal; and also Ricky Jackson (Delia). He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
