Garvin Chisan Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Garvin Chisan of Saddle Lake, Alberta, who passed away on January 8, 2025 at the age of 61. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Garvin Chisan to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Isabel "June" Chisan and Vernon Lloyd Chisan; his brother-in-law Allan Marsh; his grandparents, Ralph Garvin, Isabel Florence Steinhauer (Davidson), Charlie and Mary Jean Chisan (Grant); and his friends, Vernon Andrew Makokis Jr., Frankie Butcher, Vincent Steinhauer, Kirby Cardinal and Lester Cardinal.
He is survived by: his sons, Cy (Kayla) and Cole; his siblings, Debbie, Sherri (Anne) and Herbie; his aunt Muriel Manywounds; and his uncles, Ken Steinhauer (Hazel) and Frank Chisan. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces & nephews.
A wake was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at the Ayiwakes Cultural Centre (404a 50TH St, Saddle Lake, AB T0A3T0). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
