It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dusty McGilvery of Saddle Lake, Alberta, who passed away on June 4, 2023, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his niece Tara-Jean Cardinal; and his grandparents, Joe, Maggie Moosewah, Louis and Emma McGilvery.
He is survived by: his wife Chrisy Ann; his children, Rowena Steinhauer, Landon and Kaleel; his grandchildren, Roper Ray Large and Lyric; his adoptive children, Thomas Sanderson, Blake Jackson, Darcy Cardinal Jr., Clinton Brertton (Cree-Lee White), Shane Quinney, Larissa Jackson (Cody Cryer), Bryce Quinn, Shaneo Shirt, Shalyra Moosewah and Kirsten Brertton (Rudy Benjamin); his parents, Lyman and Cindy; his sisters, Misty, Larissa Crane, Janice Makokis (Huey), Chrissey Moosewah (Larry Berard), Samantha Mason, Kokom and Gloria Moosewah; and his aunts and uncles, Cora Houle, Eva Moosewah (Dennis), Linda Makokis, Delia Brertton, Leo (Priscilla), Robert (Gloria), Ovide, Bruce, Buddy (Velma White) and Samuel. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews, aunties & uncles.
