It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Byron Steinhauer of Saddle Lake, Alberta, who passed away on December 6, 2024, at the age of 45, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Rosalie Steinhauer; and his sisters, Tina Steinhauer, Charlene Favel and Patricia Steinhauer. He is survived by: his children, Ashlynn and Sharone Moses; the mother of his children Lori Moses; his children, Kannan and Seth Desjarlais; the mother of his children Kristy Desjarlais; his grandchildren, Kannan Jr., Iris, Jaxon and Savanna; his father Henry Whitford; his siblings, Roberta Steinhauer, Charlotte Steinhauer, Vanessa Steinhauer and Malcolm Steinhauer; and his close friend Renee Steinhauer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Old Onchaminahos School (810 50TH St, Saddle Lake, AB T0A3T0). A wake was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
