He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Cardinal and Angelique Cardinal; his siblings, Arthur Lewis Cardinal, Marie Cardinal and Pauline Cardinal; his nephews, Nigel, Arthur B. and Craig Cardinal; and his niece Samantha Cardinal.
He is survived by: his siblings, Margaret Louise Cardinal McConnell (David McConnell), Peter Cardinal (Lorraine), Darlene Donna Cardinal (Harry Quintal) and Elaine J. Cardinal; and his nieces and nephews, Tahza, Lisa, Jondalar, Conrad, Amanda, Lewis, Lucas, Ian, Chevay, Jolene, Yarrow, Jordan and Trina.
A wake was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ayiwakes Cultural Centre (404a 50TH St, Saddle Lake, AB T0A3T0). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
