Mariko Hironaka Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mariko Hironaka of Rosemary, Alberta, who passed away on July 9, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Yukimi Aimoto and Ayako Aimoto of Kudamatsu; her husband Tiosh; her sister Sachiko; her siblings-in-law, Atsuto of Japan, Sadako, Tomoe (Shig), Mitsugi and Chuck; and her nephews, Jim and Grant.
She is survived by: her children, Ken (Cindy), Julie (Mike), Grant and Mark; her grandchildren, Jordan, Danika and Dane; her siblings, Goichi (Akiko), Yoko, Sanae (Yukio) of Japan and Sunako (Tosh); and her siblings-in-law, Hiroko, Sumie and Hiroshi. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In memory of Mariko, if friends desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Buddhist Temple of Southern Alberta, 470 40 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta T1J 3Z5.
