With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William MacDonald (Rocky Mountain House, Alberta), born in Edmonton, Alberta, who passed away on July 2, 2023 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ian MacDonald and Mavis MacDonald; and his father-in-law Bill Greer. He is survived by: his wife Cathie; his children, Ben and Becky Gregory (Nathan); his grandchildren, William and Evelyn; his sisters, Heather Groenen (Bert) and Jessie Humeniuk (Dwayne); his mother-in-law Grace Greer; his brother-in-law Jim Greer (Heather); and his stepmother Pat MacDonald.
Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made in Bill's name to The Terry Fox Foundation, a charity special to Bill as he participated in numerous Terry Fox Runs in memory of his mom.
