He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Dahl and Eileen Dahl; his wife May Farr; his sons, Doug and Steve (Shelly); and his siblings, Deanna Bailey (Tom), Linda Atkins, Judy Dahl, Ivan Dahl (Connie), Dennis Dahl (Susan), Sherry Dahl, Rosalie Grenier (Gaston) and Murray Dahl (Helen).
