He is survived by: his siblings, Freddie Dumais, Martha Semeniuk (Dale Williamson) of Calgary, Gladys Bigelow (George Moritz), Mary-Jane Desjarlais of Red Deer, Jimmy Cardinal (Christine), Beatrice Sterling (Jim), Shirley Calvert (Doug), Bernice Cardinal of Innisfail, Clifford Cardinal, Rhoda Fortier of Calgary and Marlene Heavenfire of Calgary. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of the Rocky Funeral Home (4804 48 St, Rocky Mountain House, AB T4T1C3).
