In loving memory of Maureen Light (Rocky Mountain House, Alberta), born in Calgary, Alberta, who departed this world on May 24, 2024 at the age of 76. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Schamp and Gratien Schamp; and her husband Nick Light. She is survived by: her children, Laura (Paul) and Darren (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Brian, Kelly, Kyle, Brock and Cheyann; and her great grandchildren, Marcus, Eli and Eden May.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Rocky Mountain House Health Foundation towards palliative care needs in Maureen's memory.

“My deepest condolences to Mareen's family and friends. Maureen ws a joy to spend time with whether it be quilting, shopping, travelling and whatever else came about. I met her in Sundance, and we quickly became friends. I have really missed her since she stopped coming down to Yuma. I am deeply sorry that she has passed, but I take comfort in the fact that she is no longer in pain. Rest easy, my friend.”
