He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Stewart and Owen Stewart; and his siblings, Naomi, Muriel Stewart and Kenneth Stewart.

He is survived by: his wife Ramona Stewart; his daughters, Carrie Nimko (Reg) of Red Deer, AB and Laurie Rachar (Darryl) of Stettler, AB; his granddaughter Destiny Busch (Leighton); his great grandchildren, Racheal and Aaron Busch; his grandson Jordan Rachar (Aja); his great grandchildren, Adeline and Elouise Rachar; his nephew Owen Stewart (Pam); and his great-nephews, Dennis and Derrick Stewart.
