He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Rudolph Shippelt and Robert Smith; his cousins, Robert Smith and Tristan Smith; and his aunts, Nola Shippelt and Val Smith.

He is survived by: his uncles, Kevin, Erwin and Dale; his cousin Jason; his uncle Kev; his cousins, Keith and Colin; his parents, Philip Smith and Teresa Smith; his sister Shelley Lewis (Jordan); his nieces and nephews, Mackenzie and Carson Lewis; his brother Brennen Smith; and his grandmothers, Doreen Shippelt and Kay Smith.
