He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gladys McLaren and Harry McLaren; his wife Dianne McLaren; his children, Levi McLaren (Rachelle), Amy Davis (Terry) and Matthew Soetaert (Carlene); his sisters, Irene Olson-Moll and Mary Shaw; and his grandchildren, Gordon, Chandler Keeler, Anthony, Jacob, Kyle Soetaert, Aline, Daniel Shannon, Linden and Rowan McLaren.
