He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his children, Grant (Judy), Kelly (Doyle), Bradley (Glenda), Shannon (Rob) and Sandra (Joe); his great grandchildren, Corrina (Alayna), Ryan, Joe, Jessie, Carmen, Ben (Stephanie), Nicol (Bjorn), Jordan, Braedan and Nate; and his brothers, Bill (Dorothy), Gordon (Helen), Allan (Helen), Arnold (Dorothy), Edith Reid (Ron), Gerald Mofford (Ann) and Harry Mofford.
As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers memorial donations in Melvin's name can be made to STARS or the Canadian Cancer Society.
