He was predeceased by: his parents, Seth Carson and Marie Carson; his son Randy Carson; his grandson Scott Hornstra; his daughter Brenda Overgaard; and his siblings, Mildred, Mabel, Kathleen, Ethel, Leona, Dorothy, Gordon (Rocky), Pearl and Cris.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Varty; his daughter Rhonda Hornstra (Robert); his son-in-law Kent Overgaard; his grandchildren, Bridget Overgaard, Mark Hornstra (Keanna), Justin Overgaard (Lindsey) and Carly Fleming (Neil); and his great grandchildren, Luke, Sofie Overgaard and Scarlett.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Church of the Nazarene (5340 59 Ave, Rocky Mountain House, AB T4T1J4).
