He is survived by: his wife Bernice; his daughter Bonnie (Allan); his granddaughters, Kally (Jason) and Becky (Jamie); his great grandchildren, Melanie, Emma, Liam, Eliana and Ridge; his brother Bruce (Marie); his parents, George Meston and Violet Meston; and his brother George. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.

Memorial donations may be made in Doug's name to the Rocky Mountain House Health Care Centre.
