He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Thomas and William Thomas; his wife Margaret Dapping; and his siblings, Berwyn Norman, Wilbur, Helen, Olwyn, Coral and Leona.
He is survived by: his daughter Shelley (Kevin); his family Lacombe of Alberta; and his children, Mark (Sharran), Phil (Debbie), Jeff, Lance and Ruth. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren & great grandchildren.
