He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Fuhr and Jack Fuhr; his brother Ken; and his sister-in-law Kay Fuhr. He is survived by: his wife Grace; his children, Robin and Gail Calder (John); his grandson Dalton Davis; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Read, Lorna Hesse (Dale) and Don Read. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
He has also received the Queen's Golden and Diamond Jubilee Medals for his volunteer contributions to the community.
