With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Francis (Rimbey, Alberta), who passed away on May 5, 2011 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Walter Harbord and Winifred Nora (Beeching); and her siblings, Sylvia (Smith), Kenneth and Walter.
She is survived by: her daughter Betty Lynn (Bob Blackmore); her grandchildren, Dan (Ali), Ryan, Amanda, Ryah, Kherington, Jill and Jo-Ann; her son Bill (Sheila); her grandchildren, Justin and Dana Lynn; her great grandchild Tesla; and her husband Lyle Francis.
Interment of Joan's cremated remains will occur at a later date in the Wetaskiwin cemetery In lieu of flowers if friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of their choice.
