He was predeceased by: his siblings, Walter and Helen; and his parents, Henry Befus and Pauline Befus of Red Willow. He is survived by: his sons, Lance Befus (Shelly), Wes Befus (Crystal) and Kim Befus; his grandchildren, Michelle Fisher (Todd), Lyndsay Gauthier, Cody Gauthier (Michelle), Layne Befus, Jamie Befus, Eric Befus (Rebeka) and Jarod Befus; his great grandchildren, Mykelti, Shayla, Cemara, Emerie, Xylis, Daytan, Lyrik and Jace; and his wife Margie Gaetz.
