She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Grace Holmes and James Harold Holmes of Westerose, Alberta.; her spouse Garvin Ibbotson; and her siblings, Thomas (Tom), Beatrice, Mildred (Millie), Evelyn (Evie), Robert (Bob), Neal and Daniel (Dan).

She is survived by: her sons, Sheldon (Bronwen), James (Vangie) and Quentin (Kim); and her sister Helen. She is also survived by her children, seven grandchildren.
