It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Les Shilka of Redcliff, Alberta, born in Elk Point, Alberta, who passed away on November 17, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Ann; his parents, Barry Shilka and Ellen Shilka; and his parents-in-law, Margaret McLeod and Rod McLeod.

He is survived by: his children, Kenton Shilka and Gloria Shilka; his granddaughters, Trinity Shilka, Shay-Ann and Tristen Rangen; and his siblings, Don Shilka, Louis Shilka, Blair Shilka, Ernie Shilka, Muriel Loos and Hazel Lubeck. He is also survived by loving relatives and friends.
