She was predeceased by: her former husband Ron Deering; her son Robyn Deering; her parents, Isaac Giesbrecht and Helena Giesbrecht; her brother Garry; her sister-in-law Heather Giesbrecht; her nephews, Lonnie Giesbrecht and Jason Funk; and her great-niece Elan Burgess.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Simmonds; her children, Holly Reniak, Kristy Woodside (Scott) and Dana Simmonds (Maureen); her grandchildren, Jordan Reniak (Levi), Kaitlin Reniak, Trenton Pickett, Kali Pickett, Sophie Onerheim, Madison Stevens, Leland Simmonds and Naressa Simmonds; her siblings, Harvey Giesbrecht (Sonja), Randy Giesbrecht (Carrie), Deanna Toews (Bary), Donna Funk (Abe) and Wanda Oliver (Eric); and also, Mike Reniak and Tami Simmonds. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
