He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ron, Kathy Komishke of Stettler, AB and Roy Middlemiss of Rockburn, QC.. He is survived by: his parents, Audra Komishke of Red Deer, AB and Len Middlemiss of Brockville, ON; his sister Taylor Austin (Brady) of Alberta; his grandmother Shirley Middlemiss of Rockburn, QC; and his stepsisters, Kimberly and Amanda Dobbin of Ontario. He is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts and uncles, and many friends.
Memorial donations can be made to the Red Deer Regional Health Foundation noting a tribute in memory of Zane; monies will be directed to assist the ICU social workers in providing comfort care support to future families.
