He was predeceased by: his parents, Fritz Gurgens and Meta Grinde; and his brother Reg Gurgens. He is survived by: his siblings, Harold Gurgens and Monica Keating; and his stepson Mark Fobes. He is also survived by his cousins, nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and his many friends.
