He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Pennell and Florence Pennell; and his brother Herb. He is survived by: his siblings, Lock, Mac, Chess, Nelson, Jim, Lilly, Joan, Janet, Jane, Ruby, Florie, Brenda, Doreen and Michelle; his wife Deborah Powell; his sons, Walter Jr. (Nadia) and Michael (Christa); the mother of his children Deborah; and his granddaughters, Hailey Jane, Hailey Raey and Sadie Grace. He is also survived by numerous other family members and dear friends.
