She was predeceased by: her parents, Reginald Munn and Joyce Munn; her siblings, Joyce and Arthur; her former husband Henry Stewart; her husband Joseph Fiddler; and her daughter Barbara Colbourne.

She is survived by: her children, Jim Stewart (Pearl), Bob Stewart (Mechelle) and Linda Nyznyk (Don); her son-in-law Bruce Colbourne; her grandchildren, Chantel Stewart (Jarod), Chris Stewart (Chynna), Melissa Chacko (Rob), Sean Stewart (Cristina), Kora Nyznyk, Shannon Nyznyk, Kyle Nyznyk (Mandy), Tyler Nyznyk (Angie), Miranda Nelson (Clyde) and Christine Argent (Steven); and her sister-in-law Jean Harrison. She is also survived by her 16 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Violet may be made to the charity of one's choice.
