It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Howard Fisher Sr. (Red Deer, Alberta), who passed away on September 10, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Fisher and Kathleen Fisher; his daughter Heather; his stepfather Howard 'Pop Ralph; his sister Katie; his siblings-in-law, James Biddle, Ed Ditchfield, Colleen Default (Julien 'Duffy'), Barbara Daly and Esther Wotherspoon (Ross); his nieces, Gail, Wanda, Teneal and Mercedes; his parents-in-law, Robert 'Bob' and Mary Mullen; and his grandparents, Edward Lincoln, Mary Ellen McConnell, Pierre and Marie Emerise Fisher.
He is survived by: his wife Edith; his children, Vernon Jr. (Collette), Tony, Mark and Debra (Vaughn); his grandchildren, Jessica (Grant), Alyssa, Rebecca (Derek), Breanna, Matthew (Krista), Ryan, James, Aiden, Jordon (Robin), Erik (Kyla) and Derek (Shaena); his great grandchildren, Gavin, Alivia, Rayna and Eloise; his siblings, Joan Ditchfield and Jerry Fisher; and his siblings-in-law, Art Daly and Peggy Szoo. He is also survived by Family, and Rena Mullen and Family; as well as numerous family members and dear friends.
