She was predeceased by: her husband Charlie; her son Les; her parents, Pearl Birce and Allan Birce; her siblings, Ethel, Edna, Mildred, Donald, Douglas and Jean; her brothers-in-law, Bud Taylor and Bill Brodie; and also, Rebecca and Alfred Bradshaw.

She is survived by: her former husband Charles Bradshaw; her children, Shirley Frisky, Sharon Blair (Fred) and Ken Bradshaw (Fem); her grandchildren, Pamela (Terrace Smid), Allison (Phil Carpentier), Kathryn (Bryan McHale), Jennifer (Markus Lahtinen), Brian Bradshaw (Manon) and Diane (Fred Duplessis); her great grandchildren, Keziah, Matea, Arie Smid, Andrew Carpentier, Finley McHale, Ayla, Avery Lahtinen, Ian, Emily Bradshaw, Sarah and Lauren Duplessis; her brother Walter Birce (Irene); and her brother-in-law Tom Campbell. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in Verna's name may be made to the Eckville Manor.
