Ruth Elizabeth Meier Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Elizabeth Meier (Red Deer, Alberta), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Selmer and Betty; her brother Dave; and her grandson Mitch. She is survived by: her sons, Dean Meier (Arlene) of Edmonton, Curtis Meier of Lacombe and Shane Meier (Sandra); her grandchildren, Kelsey (Marcus), Meghan (Brandon), Jenna (Dayton), Shawnie, Mackenzie, Savannah, Juliette, Aiden, Lance and Warren; her great grandchildren, Hayden, Cameron and Colter; her sister Donna Lee of Red Deer; and her sister-in-law Kim Lee of Hope. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lousana Hall, Lousana, Alberta.
