He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Tiffin and Margaret Tiffin; and his brother Raymond "Dale" (Pat). He is survived by: his wife Roberta Popilchak; his children, Renee, Dallas and Lenore (Brad); the mother of his children Roberta; his grandchildren, Andruw, Quinn, Brody and Aaron; his siblings, Terry (Jeannie), Steve (Karen), Jim, Lois (Percy), Patricia, Moira, Linda (Derrick) and Laurie (Sheldon); and his sister-in-law Debra. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other extended family and the numerous friends.

In Lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ron may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation.
