He was predeceased by: his son Gordon; his parents, Louis and Alma; and his brothers, Leon, Remi and Henry.

He is survived by: his wife Theresa; his children, Doug (Susan), Roseann (Ross), Elaine (Dan), Shirley (Tim) and Richard (Melissa); his grandchildren, Samuel (Samantha), Erica (Derek), Logan (Andrea), Scott, Craig (Eva), Joel (Lynnette), Ryan (Kelsey), Gordon (Allison), Tamara, Monique, Joelle, Avery and Mireya; his great grandchildren, Rhett, Louise, Oliver, Elizabeth, Harrison, Henry, Ava, Madelyn and A'riyah; and his siblings, Lucille (Pat), Irene, Rene (Beth), Yvonne, Maurice and Denise (Keith). He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
