He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Truman and Earl Truman; his son Richard Truman; his brothers-in-law, Ron Bonokoski, Charlie Brewer and John Pengelly; and his stepfather Alton Affie.
He is survived by: his wife Emily Truman; his children, Trevor Doerksen (Sophia) of Calgary, Paul Henderson (Suzanne), Yvonne Wilkes (Daryl), Jonathon, Sarah, Abigail, Gary (Orion), Rachel, Joanna and Rhonda Humphrey (Scott); and his siblings, Donavon Truman (Ida), Douglas Truman (Patricia), Norman Affie (Debbie), Verna Pengelly, Helen Marcotte (Duane), Jean Bernard (Ray), Mae Lawrence (Richard), Lois Robinson (Ron) and Susan Bonokoski. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
