With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Renate Gisela (Rene) Meyer in Red Deer, Alberta, who passed away on December 3, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Frank. She is survived by: her children, Marc (Carrie), Nancy McKeage (Dave) and Martin (Annie); her granddaughters, Nadia and Lyla McKeage; her siblings, Rosa Semenchuk (Glen) and Richard Knodel (Zennie); and her sisters-in-law, Gabriele Lengfeld and Bãrbel Hilzinger. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
