It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Randy Allan Van Parys (Red Deer, Alberta), born in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, who passed away on October 4, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan Van Parys and Irene Van Parys; and his father-in-law Wayne Read. He is survived by: his wife Jody Read; his children, Justin Van Parys (Shannon), Taneil Hagerty (Quinn) and Brea Sutcliffe (Paul); his stepsons, Riley Deschambault (Leslie) and Cody Deschambault (Sheveryn); his grandchildren, Presley, Easton, Mason, Leo, Hazel, Connor and Claire; his mother-in-law Chris Read; his siblings-in-law, Jacquie Cummerford (George) and Chris Read (Nancy); and his buddies, Maggie and Cooper. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations can be made to the Rose McQuarrie Legacy Fund.
