We are sad to announce that on December 1, 2024, at the age of 96, Percy Lawrence Blair (Red Deer, Alberta) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Blair and Lucy Blair; his wife Margaret; his sons, Phillip and Gordon; and his siblings, Vera, Alda and Arnold.
He is survived by: his daughter Marilyn Arnold (Dale); his grandchildren, Erin Gillies (Ryan), Michael (Tiffany), Amy Engh (Trevor) and Kelly Caron (Andrè); his children, Heather Armitage (late Robert) and Raymond (Sandra); his grandchildren, Maverick (Dana) and Mariah; his daughter Lorraine Docherty; his grandchildren, Sheena, Carson, Scott and Julia; his daughter Linda Duinker (David); his grandchildren, Melissa Buhler (Brock), Jaelle Buhler (Brett), Tymon (Kendall) and Zackery (Chantelle); his daughter Judy MacDonald (John); his grandchildren, Blair and Ray; and his sister Marlene Lavallee (late Bernie). He is also survived by his twenty-six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the First Christian Reformed Church (16 McVicar St, Red Deer, AB T4N0M1). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (6 McMillan Ave, Red Deer, AB T4N5X8).
