Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mildred Matilda Ackerman (Red Deer, Alberta), born in Rockford, Alabama, who passed away at the age of 90, on May 20, 2022. She was predeceased by: her daughter Shelley Schafer; her sons-in-law, Ed Schafer and Bill Bailes; her grandson Chad Bailes; and her brother-in-law Cecil Milne.

She is survived by: her children, Frances Bailes, Wade Ackerman (Valerie), Jeff Ackerman (Marnie), Jennifer Gillies (Rod) and Candace Johnston (Barry); and her sisters, Pearl Milne and Beada Reich (Ron). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.
