He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Svederus and May Svederus; his brothers, Bill and Albert Svederus; and his cousins, Alan Svederus and George Lund.
He is survived by: his wife Caroline Svederus; his children, Harold (Maureen), Dan (Lynn), Colette (Scott) and Mervin (Jacque); and his grandchildren, Kristen, Nova, Blayden, Andrew, Nicole, Emma and Tyson. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Red Deer Hospital Unit 32- Palliative Care.
