She was predeceased by: her husband Jim; her son Albert Joseph; her parents, Joe Lakusta and Helen Lakusta; her parents-in-law, Albert Hinton and Margaret Hinton; and her sisters, Zenovia "Liz" and Elizabeth "Liz".

She is survived by: her children, James "Lucky" Hinton (Debbie), Luella Hallet (Dave), Shaunna Hallet (Dean) and Robbie Hinton (Gina-Lee); her grandchildren, Dallas Hinton (Colby), Dustin Hinton (Julia), Todd Hinton (Jennifer), Shawn Hinton (Lexi), Scott Hinton, Brianna Hallet (Ryan), Derek Hallet (Alicia), Kyle Hallet (Shawna), Krystal Hallet, Mitch Hallet, Joseph Hinton and Jesse Hinton (Felicia); her great grandchildren, Seanna, Tristen, Ethan, Dillon Lars, Weston, Wade, Emily and Douglas; her siblings, William "Bill" Lakusta, Lillian Tymchyshyn (Stan), Iris Tymchyshyn (Jack), Natalia McLeod (Larry) and Patsy Lemont (Ray); and her siblings-in-law, Stan Hinton, Sid Hinton (Julie) and Shirley Peterson (Bob Shane). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
