She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Paterson and Dena Paterson. She is survived by: her children, Doug (Janine), Donna Carlyle (Dwight) and Patty Farwell (Mike); her grandchildren, Angelina, Jocelyn, Justine (Chris), Alison (Shane), Jared (Tanner), Jordan (Adam), Madison (Chad) and Cole; her siblings, Jean Parsons (Gary), Bob (Harriet) and Guy; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Elliott. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
