It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorne Joseph Olmstead (Red Deer, Alberta), born in Carberry, Manitoba, who passed away on July 30, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Olmstead and Cora Olmstead; and his siblings, Jean, Shirley, Ross and Bertram.

He is survived by: his wife Ruby (Beck); his children, Dean (Deb), Wayne (Rose), Gail and Lyle; his grandchildren, Asha, Jay (Fallon), David and Michael; and his brother James (Grace).
