He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Hamilton and Barbara Hamilton; his brothers, Mac (Arlene) and Lloyd; his stepson Randy; and his nephew Randy.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Reitmeier; his children, Darren and Shauna (Mike); his stepchildren, Lyle, Guy, Angela, Kim (Clint) and Cory; his sisters, Elizabeth, Geraldine (Ron) and Linda (Ron); and his sister-in-law Shirley Hamilton. He is also survived by numerous family members and dear friends.
