It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaVane Audrey Cowie of Red Deer, Alberta, born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, who passed away on March 29, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joy Biem and Lorrene Biem; and her son Kevin Cowie. She is survived by: her children, Barry Cowie (Brenda) of Red Deer and Carole Cowie (Peter Saville) of Benalto, Alberta; her grandchildren, Vanessa Smith, Denay Oliver (Adrian), Kimberly Reder (Jeff), Nichole Fegan (Graham), Ben Saville, Ed Saville and Tim Saville; and her great grandchildren, Ethan Smith, Dylan Smith, Abigail Oliver, Damian Oliver, Colten Oliver, Jarrex Reder and Aleigha Reder.
