He is survived by: his wife Irene Mary; his children, Jessica Lynne (Terry Anderton) and Gabriel Karl; his grandchildren, Bryon Malcolm (Alevtyna Parmenova), Ella Skye Thune and Ryler Sidney Dodds-Baker; his siblings, Beverly Baker, Virginia Baker, Bonnie MacCallum (Dale), Maurice Baker (Lois) and Martin Baker (Wanda); and his children, Bryon Malcolm and Gabe. He is also survived by numerous brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, other family members, work colleagues, friends.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Red Deer Resort.

I met Karl and Irene and Didsbury convention back in 2002 also became close friends and stayed with them from time to time and we played music together. Karl was a wonderful encouragement in spiritual thought and deeds. He was a man of action and hit the job done. I appreciated their open home and their children and grandchildren. Karl will be missed and his saying will always ring in my heart, “you gotta get the goodness out ….. “ in all things”
